Bukovyna has one of Ukraine's most ornate embroidery traditions — expressive floral patterns, rich color palettes, a visual language that stands apart from the stricter geometric styles of the northern regions. Where other regional traditions pull back, Bukovynian embroidery leans in. It has always been unafraid of color.

This patch reflects that fully. Green, red, pink, and yellow arranged into a floral-geometric shape — the kind of layered, vibrant composition that Chernivtsi's embroidery tradition is known for, rebuilt in my own graphic language. The multicolor palette isn't an accident. It's the whole character of this region expressed in a 3-inch square.

Chernivtsi sits where Ukrainian, Romanian, and Austro-Hungarian influences have layered over centuries into something genuinely distinct. This patch carries a little of all of that — without trying to explain it.
