It's built from the visual logic of Ukrainian embroidery — geometric, symmetrical, constructed outward from a center point the way these patterns have always been made. The words are encoded into the structure rather than printed across it. And then, toward the hem, the geometry comes apart. The pattern melts, structure dissolving into something looser and stranger as it runs down the skirt.

Green and pink on black. The melt is deliberate. A pattern that holds together at the top and loses its grip at the bottom is an honest description of the last few years.

The print is applied to the fabric before the dress is cut and sewn, so the design wraps the entire piece continuously — no panel breaks, no graphic stamped onto a blank. Fitted through the bodice, flared through the skirt, with enough movement in it to be worth spinning once.
