The chestnut tree is everywhere in Kyiv — lining the boulevards, shading the courtyards, blooming every spring in clusters of white and pink that the whole city seems to pause for. It's not an official symbol, but it doesn't need to be. Anyone who has spent time in Kyiv knows the chestnut belongs to it. The chestnut flower shape forms the core of this design, rendered in blue, red, and yellow — colors that carry the warmth and energy of the city itself.

The embroidered design on one side of this tote is the same one used on the matching embroidered patch and on the chest of the City's apparel — same size, same embroidery technique, roughly a 4×4 inch piece of real threadwork stitched directly onto the canvas. Not a print, not a graphic. Embroidery.

On the reverse, the New Vyshyvanka logo — embroidered at the same size as the city design on the front, in white thread with the red pattern icon. Both sides carry real embroidery. Both sides say something.
