Every Ukrainian city has a story. This is Lviv's — carried.

Lviv's coat of arms is a fortress gate — a symbol of the city's strength, its history as a fortified royal capital of the Kingdom of Galicia-Volhynia, its identity as a place that has held its ground through centuries of shifting borders and powers. That's the shape at the heart of this design. Blue and yellow — the colors of the coat of arms, and the flag, though in Lviv's case the connection runs much deeper than the modern state. Lviv embroidery is known for its lightness, geometric patterns on white canvas with deliberate negative space, almost lacy in quality. A city that has always known how to protect what matters.

The embroidered design on one side of this tote is the same one used on the matching embroidered patch and on the chest of the City's apparel — same size, same embroidery technique, roughly a 4×4 inch piece of real threadwork stitched directly onto the canvas. Not a print, not a graphic. Embroidery.

On the reverse, the New Vyshyvanka logo — embroidered at the same size as the city design on the front, in white thread with the red pattern icon. Both sides carry real embroidery. Both sides say something.
