The trident — Ukraine's national symbol, called the tryzub — has been woven into this design so that it only reveals itself when you look for it. The word "Ukraine" is in there too, hidden inside the geometry of the pattern.

This isn't a folk embroidery reproduction. It's my original graphic take on Ukrainian design tradition — pulling the visual language of vyshyvanka patterns and rebuilding it with a minimalist, typographic sensibility. The result looks like a pattern. It is a pattern. It just also says something.

Iron it on a jacket collar. Sew it onto a bag. Pin it somewhere it'll get noticed by exactly the right people.
