Uzhhorod sits in Zakarpattia — the westernmost corner of Ukraine, pressed up against Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania. The embroidery there reflects that crossroads: vibrant, layered, floral and geometric at the same time. It's the most visually exuberant regional tradition in the country, and it earns that reputation.
This patch leans into that fully. Pink, yellow, green, and blue arranged into a floral-geometric pattern — the kind of composition Zakarpattia embroidery is known for, rebuilt in my own graphic language. It's colorful in a way that feels intentional, not decorative. Each color earns its place in the pattern.
The name of the city is in there too, worked into the geometry if you look for it.
Sew it on, iron it on, pin it somewhere it'll be seen. It's the kind of patch that doesn't hide.
