Volya Unisex Bright Colors t-shirt

Volya — воля — means freedom, will, the choice to act. It's one of the most loaded words in the Ukrainian language, and this t-shirt carries it in a way nothing else in the catalog does.

The coat of arms embroidered on the front is a specific historical reference: an interpretation of the Ukrainian tryzub created by Mykola Bytynskyi for the Album of Uniforms of the Ukrainian Army and Navy during the Liberation Struggle of 1917–1921, a work of Ukrainian military graphic design from the 1930s. Bytynskyi was building a visual record of a country that had briefly existed and been crushed. His tryzub was an act of remembering — ornamental, deliberate, drawn in the art-nouveau-influenced graphic language of his era. Almost a hundred years later, that act is still relevant.

The back of the shirt prints a digital map of Ukraine with the line "не забудем і не пробачим" — "we won't forget and we won't forgive." The phrase is from a song by Skofka, one of the most quoted lines in Ukrainian music since 2022, and it has become something Ukrainians say to each other plainly. Not as a slogan. As a position.
