Zaporizhzhia Embroidered Patch

Zaporizhzhia — the land of the Zaporozhian Cossacks, one of the most storied places in Ukrainian history. The embroidery tradition here is bold and geometric, patterns built for strong contrast and visual weight. But this patch takes its colors not from the embroidery tradition alone — pink, yellow, and green, pulled directly from the city's coat of arms.

Those colors carry the identity of the place. The design carries its spirit — my own graphic interpretation of Zaporizhzhia's geometric embroidery tradition, rendered in a palette that belongs specifically to this city.

The name is embedded in the pattern. It doesn't need to announce itself.
