Zaporizhzhia — the land of the Zaporozhian Cossacks, one of the most storied places in Ukrainian history. The embroidery tradition here is bold and geometric, patterns built for strong contrast and visual weight. But this design takes its colors not from the embroidery tradition alone — pink, yellow, and green, pulled directly from the city's coat of arms.
Those colors carry the identity of the place. The design carries its spirit — an original graphic interpretation of Zaporizhzhia's geometric embroidery tradition, rendered in a palette that belongs specifically to this city.
The name is embedded in the pattern. It doesn't need to announce itself.
The all-over print wraps the entire bag, front and back. From any distance it reads as a clean piece of design. Up close, it reads as exactly what the pattern says.

I love it! It’s so striking and sturdy. I received the bag as a special birthday present. All my old friends in Ukraine come from Zaporizhzha and so it has special resonance for me. I am so proud to carry it with me in Berlin! If you were to make a bag with a zip and an inside pocket I would buy one of those too.
Since I’ve never yet been to ZP, I am really looking forward to finally visiting this great city after Ukrainian victory.
