Zhytomyr is Polissia — ancient forests, old traditions, embroidery patterns that have been passed down through generations in some of the most isolated villages in Ukraine. The geometric forms here are among the oldest in the country: squares, rhombuses, crosses, rosettes. Repeating rhythmic structures that feel less like decoration and more like language. Red and black, the classic Polissia palette. Red for life. Black for the strength of the earth.

This isn't a folk embroidery reproduction. It's an original graphic interpretation, rooted in something specific to this place. The design is the same one used on the matching embroidered patch and on the chest of the City's apparel — same size, same embroidery technique, now stitched onto the front panel of a classic dad hat.

A hat changes how the design moves through the world. On the front panel, the embroidery sits at forehead height — visible from any angle, from any distance. The city travels with you, and other people see it too.
